About Me
I hold a degree in Biological Sciences from the Polytechnic University of the Marche, Italy, as well as a Master's in Molecular and Applied Biology from the same university. Currently, I am a researcher at the Cancer Biomarkers Unit of the IRCCS Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza Foundation. My research focuses on understanding the mechanisms that drive drug resistance in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and identifying innovative biomarkers, particularly miRNA-based, to optimize the diagnosis and treatment of this condition. Through this work, I am committed to improving oncological therapies with the goal of providing more effective and personalized solutions for patients. My research aims to bridge the existing gaps in understanding the biological processes driving lung cancer progression, while simultaneously developing innovative diagnostic tools that can be integrated into clinical practice.
Outside of my scientific career, I have a passion for cooking, nature, and reading. Additionally, I enjoy experimenting with new recipes, spending time outdoors exploring natural environments, and immersing myself in literature. I would like to describe myself as a sociable and curious person, always ready to take on new challenges and build authentic relationships. I love learning new things, whether it's a recipe, a foreign language, or a new hobby, because I believe that every experience helps me grow and enrich the person I am.
