Dr Fabrizio Bianchi, PhD, has several years of research experience in the field of lung cancer transcriptomics and biomarkers development. He pioneered the identification of serum circulating miRNA-signature for lung cancer early detection. He is an inventor of international patents regarding diagnostic and prognostic tools for lung cancer patients. Dr. Bianchi is member of the Basic and Translational Science Committee of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC), member of the scientific committee of the Italian Association for Cancer Research (AIRC), and member of the steering committee and treasurer of Italian Society of Cancerology (SIC).
