About Me
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biotechnology, and a Master of Science degree in Bioinformatics from University of Milano – Bicocca, Italy, and a PhD in Computational Biology from SEMM (European School of Molecular Medicine) and University of Milano, Italy. Currently, I am a senior postdoctoral fellow at the Unit of Cancer Biomarkers, IRCCS Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza Foundation. My research interests are focused on elucidating the role of tumor cell plasticity in lung adenocarcinoma, integrating omics data from bulk and single cells sequencing, as well as the identification of more accurate biomarkers (both mRNA- and miRNA-based) for the prognosis and treatment of lung cancer. Outsides working as a scientific researcher, I also enjoy traveling, reading, and training in yoga and pilates workouts, hence I would like to describe myself as resolute, thoughtful and sensitive.
